Super friendly staff. Lots of ppl on a sat brunch - super packed.
Cheap brunch buffet 9.90€ which tasted great. Good variation (see photo).
Also very good heiße Schokolade!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jen S.Dallas, Verenigde Staten29747068717 sep 2014
For Berlin standards of brunch, I can safely say this is at the top of the restaurant for a reason. Their spread is nothing short of amazing, for (.50 Euro per person, so unsure what Patrick W. is talking about that it is expensive because I always travel on a budget and I didn't go over for this place, yet basically ate three meals.
When I was here it was a bit crowded, but not with children or annoying people, just the normal german crowd. Service was good considering we got our food ourselves the staff did not have to do more then take our drink orders. Either way they were friendly and did not give us a problem at all when we walked in on a weekend with no reservation. Plus we didn't have enough euro cash and they wouldn't take our credit card, so we had to leave go to a bank to change money and come back!
The brunch buffet has so much to choose from, anyone could easily eat here including picky eaters. They have fruits, cereals, eggs, fries, deli meats, cheeses, dipping sauces, fresh bread, homemade yogurts, ect ect ect.
The decor is a bit interesting/weird/dated but that is no reason not to try out their quality brunch food for a low price. Make a reservation to be safe though/so you don't have to wait.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dominique F.Oslo, Noorwegen313105317110 sep 2016
Came here for brunch with a group of 10-12 people. We had originally called to book a table, so we didn't have to wait for too long to sit even though the table was a little packed for that many people.
The good thing about brunch here is that it's open buffet and that you don't have to wait for too long; just go up and start grabbing your favorite food! Enjoy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Priscilia P.Berlijn, Duitsland19230 dec 2015
The waitress was rude with us
The barmaid was not here
We waited 30 min to have our drink
The cook was making incredible noises in the kitchen
The waitress and the cook were loudly arguing in it
Total apocalypse
Ps : Clean drinks and a smile are optional
Conclusion : a place to avoidHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - patrick w.Londen, Verenigd Koninkrijk3920524 jul 2010
I was dragged here by an American collegue a year ago for brunch for what she said was her favorite restaurant in Berlin. I suffer slight agrophobia (coupled with an aversion to screaming children) which might explain why I hated brunch so much.
I really don't get why this place is so popular. It's not cheap. It's very crowded - not in the good i'm young and at a hip club way, but in the bad I am going to die from suffocation, go deaf from yelling kids, christmas market way. The food is basically standard cheap Berlin brunch fair, which dozens of places nearby offer in more pleasant surroundings.
Bottom-line: Avoid. Go to any of the better quality/less frentic options nearby.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Anne-Marie F.Dublin, Ierland3425 feb 2013
I went for classic Berliner Brunch at Morgenland last Saturday, after a friend assured me it offered the best brunch in the city. It didn't disappoint (much).
Brunch consisted of an entire room filled with food - over fifteen types of cereal, every fruit under the sun, pancakes, salad, bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, and even some Swedish meatballs thrown in for good measure. No need to eat for a week after breakfast at this place.
While the food was tasty, I did feel a little like it had been sitting around all day long in a somewhat unhygienic environment. This feeling was amplified when I found a piece of prawn in a non-prawn dish and a pepper in my yoghurt, though this was the natural consequence of customers serving their own food (especially if anywhere as clumsy as me).
One complaint I would have was the typical German reluctance to provide tap water free of charge. Our waitress looked like she'd been kicked in the face when we ordered "Leitungswasser" and must have spent half an hour searching for the world's tiniest glasses to serve it in before she brought it to the table.
However, all was forgiven when she discounted our brunch from the usual €9 to €7.50, on account of it being late in the day.
Overall, not a bad spot to spend a Saturday - nice atmosphere, good food, great area.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clara G.Berlijn, Duitsland01117 dec 2012
Great brunch ! Loved it.
Buffet full of fresh and delicious food. New stuff arrives regularly.
Book a table if you want to go there around 10 or 10.30. If not, come back around 12.00, without booking.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Greg E.Berkeley, Verenigde Staten46420 jan 2013
Quintessential place for Weekend Brunch- so much so all the tables were already reserved when they opened at 10am the day we came. We were lucky they could take us at bar, which only has 5 stools.
€9.50 for the brunch, which featured the best quality ingredients of the 5 weekend brunches I've partaken of in my trips to Berlin. I had the fresh squeezed OJ,- it was also my favorite I can remember in Berlin.
Service was friendly, especially given the rush the staff was under. Highly recommended for brunch,- though you probably do need to make a reservation.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica X.Stanford, Verenigde Staten2081623928 aug 2015
Such a fun brunch place!! It's a buffet brunch and the options are really good and so well presented. It's located in a hip part of town and the price for how much food you can get is definitely worth it. It can get a little crowded during the weekends around brunch time, so make sure you go early!

Would definitely recommend. Solid portions. Good prices. I had the Turkish bfast, my girlfriend had the English bfast and we split an order of the crepes. No need to eat for the rest of the day, that's for sure! The vanilla curd yogurt with the crepe is so tasty and the fruit and curd cup with the Turkish bfast made for a nice little dessert while we looked for places to go shopping and finished our coffee.
