Good but not great good food which was appropriately priced.
I haven't tried the other local Mexican places.
It's Mexican in the middle of Germany so I think some reviewers standards are a little high.
Nice place inside & good prompt service with food being promptly brought to the table.
Not your typical slow European service which is probably the result of having so many American clients.
Had a chicken fajita but no margaritas this time which other reviews said were great.

Best Mexican restaurant in Kaiserslautern! The portions are huge and ALL delicious. I've tried burritos, chimichangas, fajitas - all good! The complimentary salsa and chips they start you off with are really good too.

Oh and you can't go and not have their frozen margaritas (especially on the days where they have 2 for 1 deals!). Try the passion fruit and strawberry - or get both and mix them like i do!

The only Mexican food restaurant where its good in the KMC area. My husband and I love the drinks. The enchiladas are good and portions are big.

If there is one thing you should know about this place, is that their margaritas are bomb. The food is good, at least as good as Germany can get to Mexican food it seems. But I mainly go here to get drunk.

Good service, good food, good drinks...legit! Margaritas are bausssss as well! An additional plus is parking is readily available, and very convent. Menus in English also make the experience more pleasurable. You can expect some of you standard traditional Mexican food, but also entrées such as ribs, and hot wings. Go ahead, check it out, enjoy yourself!

So delicious!! My fiance (who is Mexican & grew up in El Paso, TX) loved it! He said it reminded him of home. I know where we will be going to eat Authentic Mexican Cuisine from now on!

Love their shredded beef! After we tried couple of Mexican restaurants around here this place has the best Mexican food in my opinion. It's nothing like San Diego Mexican food but still tasty.

Very nice wait staff, always smiling and quick with drinks. For those of you in Germany, you know Mexican food here is different. This is as close as we have gotten to a little taste of home. The food is actually quite good. I don't really recommend the chips and salsa -- salsa tastes a little bit like spaghetti sauce. But other than that, super yummy. margaritas are great. huge drink selection. Easy to get to by train (is only a few steps away from Kaiserslautern West station). Not open for lunch on weekdays, only dinner. Open all day Sunday. :)

One of three in a chain of local mexican restaurants. Papasote is located in Kaiserslautern near the Dinosaur Park. The menus in all three restaurants is very similar, as you would expect. The main difference is atmoshpere. Papasote's is a little more trendy than the other two resturants. There's far less Mexican decoration. It's more a place to have a romantic date than take the family out for a meal. The restaurant is domintaed by couples and social groups. The food is the best approximation of Mexican food in K-Town (don't expect to find San Antonio Tex Mex in Germany). It will satisfy your craving until you get back to the States. I love their tacos.
