George Inn

I have been here a few times and always let the good times roll however, after watching my favourite football team test my nerves here I was very disappointed with the level of service. Don't get me wrong the bar lass was nice and friendly and the football clear and can be viewed from any spot, it's more of a case of the minimum order on card. To tackle this I asked for a pint now and put a pint in for later. This was not allowed. Leaving me no choice but to order 2 punts of over priced flat beer rather then 1 and 1 later. The pub was not busy and this could easily have been done. Grrrrrrrr I'm annoyed!!!!!!

Easily my favourite pub in Walton, friendly staff and regulars, perfectly kept Shepherd Neame beers, and feels like a proper pub should without being run down like so many others seem to be. There is also a small pool table, and football is shown on the 2 plasma screens by the Chelsea following landlord, and a lovely open fire burns in the winter months to keep things nice and cosy.
