Recommend by a local. Can't thank him enough. Beef and Guinness pie, fish & chips, Lamb Liver & Bacon. The liver was a little over cooked, same with the beef for the beef in the beef & Guinness pie. Fish was perfect. The only housefly we have run into while in Ireland was here. Kind of a surprise. All that said I do recommend the place. The portions were large, the food (like all of Ireland) was served hot (I mean HOT) to the table, unlike many places in the US. Hot chocolate Sunday with vanilla ice turns out to be a hot chocolate cake with a serving of French vanilla ice cream covered in hot chocolate sauce, devoured immediately upon hitting the table.

I pass the Ramble Inn 6 times a week on my work commute and have always wanted to stop by!! I got my chance this week. It's a proper country pub and restaurant. There's ample free car parking, a full bar range, great staff, an amazing menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and it's very well decked out!! I shall be back to have a meal!!

Ramble inn is on the main duel carridgeway between Antrim and Ballymena and is tradition type pub serving a limited menu throughout the day. Not a lot of young people go here as its mostly Country music and line dancing, but if thats what you are into then its for you. You can hire the venue for private parties which is reasonably priced and they supply the food. Large are to park in. Staff are very nice although the low ceilings can be a hassle in the bar if you are tall
