Not a horrible way to spend your time waiting for the DMV across the street, except the order took so long that we missed our appointment. Our fault.

You guys close at 11 PM on Sundays now? I thought you were midnight Monday through Sunday

Stale, really stale, shells and pita. Who knows how far they push the things they can reheat. Not good, even by Taco Bell standards.

The Taco Bell in Novato, CA is the best Taco Bell I have ever been to in my life. Most of my Taco Bell experiences at other locations have been them not getting my order right every single time, but this Taco Bell? Well this Taco Bell is an entirely different story!! The Novato Taco Bell has always gotten my order correct, and believe me, I eat at Taco Bell a lot more than I'd like to admit. On top of them always giving me the correct order in a timely manner, THE EMPLOYEES ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE. I watched two different employees escort an elderly man to his car and they stood and waited in the rain for his car to start. MY HEART IS SOARING. I STAN THIS TACO BELL.

Get up in the morning hungry, drive there and be given an attitude because the (heavy set guy, Weekend) associate keeps getting the order wrong and he says "Happy now?" Like it's my fault he doesn't do the basic job of taking order on their computer correctly?

You'd think someone not hearing right would ask if that's correct, but no. I had to point it out repeatedly.

I am NEVER going back. The attitude is enough since nobody needs that garbage early in the morning with stressors like COVID and wildfires, but the other thing is I don't want someone with this BS attitude blaming people for their own mistakes messing with my food, think about that.

$5 a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year - $1,300.00 a year - multiply for the rest of my years, 7th Street manager. Talk to your people.

Oh yeah he didn't give a receipt of course, OR ask, convenient since there's no way to fill out the customer survey that way.

Walk away... No, better run. Run for the border, for the hills, or anywhere other than this particular location.

I typically give strong ratings and notice good things, as can be noted in most of my reviews, but will also take the time to point out the not so good. I wrote a truthful review a couple of months ago, which deservedly pointed out some service and hygiene issues, particularly with an individual who was apparently in charge.

Today, after several months, I decided to give this location a second chance. Big mistake. Not only did I encounter the very same individual, he actually knew my name and made it quite clear that he knew I wrote the review (scary). I should have left right then and there, but silly me placed a small take out order.

This person was very smug, and gloated that management didn't care about the review, and that he actually got a promotion to store manager.

Well, I wish him much success.

This particular store is the shame of the chain, and
I certainly learned my lesson about this store and this employee. We both know the truth, and in good conscience this person knows that he could have simply washed his hands when he came inside from cleaning the outside area to take my order, rather than his insisting that because he was only handling money, he didn't have too. Especially when I asked him to, and he refused, to make his point. I disagreed, especially because he touched my cup (water) with those filthy hands; and wrote the review. It was honest, truthful and deserving; but I guess he's right after all, he didn't actually touch my food.

I ordered a Veggie Power Bowl with no cheese, no sour cream, add pinto beans, add jalapeños, add extra lettuce. I was asked if the screen was correct, said yes, was charged for my extras only to find out that none of my requests were granted. Came exactly like it stated on menu, charged me for my additions, and didn't give me what I ordered. I was already back at work when I realized it, but seriously, why can't they get it right? Why should I have to double check their work? So annoying. I can't eat dairy, so I did my best to put it aside. The TB on Rowland is much better.

It looks like this place just had a bit of a price increase, and the $1 Value Menu is now the $1.09 Value Menu.

I've also noticed that this place likes to get an early start on their closing clean-up, and will block off 80% of the inside seating an hour early. You know it's bad when people are eating in their cars right outside the front doors because they don't want to be all squished into a corner by the bathrooms inside.

Generally, all the employees are pretty pleasant, though.

The staff are extremely friendly and funny here. I also love the location near a creek. However, there's no WiFi, and you need to ask for a key code to get into the restrooms.
