I returned and ordered the duck leg tagine. It was very flavorful and delicious. The duck was very tender and fell off the bone.
We were a large group who all ordered individual meals and they did a nice job serving us quickly. They also did a good of bringing all of the meals to the table at the same time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 020 nov 2014Vorige reviewWe ate dinner here with a large group. For the group dinner we were each given a plate of couscous, kebabs, and a salad. The four tagines (fish, meatball, chicken, and lamb) bread, and soup/sauce for the kebabs were served family style. The food was very tasty and a good price for a group meal. I would return to try several menu items that sounded very good.
The people who worked there were nice and helpful. - Krista W.Santa Rosa, Verenigde Staten0217 sep 2017
My first introduction to Morrocan food. I tried the salmon & shrimp (giant specimens of shrimp) tagine. It was served very hot, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Also highly recommend having tea service after... served in delicate ornate dishes including orange flower to add to your tea if desired, and a ginger biscuit & rose Turkish delight to top it off. I had one of their house white wines, very good and reasonably priced.
At first I was concerned no one was seated in the outdoor tables at entrance (in contrast to filled tables all along the street), but inside was a labyrinth of seating that was nearly full before I left. Clearly a favorite place, as others nearby were repeat customers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eds C.San Diego, Verenigde Staten59524463425 apr 2013Eerste reviewer
As an American tourist visiting Belgium for the first time, my relatives who lived near the area treated me to this Moroccan restaurant. Its their favorite restaurant. I have never tasted Moroccan Cuisine so this was definitely a culinary treat. I think I've sampled as many dishes as I could amongst the family members that I had with me that day.
I was able to meet the owner and the Chef that day. Though I have forgotten their names already, but I do remember that they were very engaging and attentive. There was a slight language barrier but in the language of food, it wasn't hard to discern the issue. I've sampled quite a few side dishes and entrees. For the life of me, I don't remember what was ordered but as you can see from the pictures that I have posted, let me tell you in all honesty, it was absolutely delicious! If I were to be in Belgium again when I visit Europe in 2014, I will definitely look for this restaurant again.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Terry S.Danbury, Verenigde Staten1632 okt 2015
Great food on the Muntstraat ! Delicious, exotic and fantastic! Take a break from the plethora of average Belgian, Italian and Sushi restaurants. The dishes here really give your palette many different flavor profiles to experience. A must eat there place to visit!

Highly recommended. Lamb tagine with prune sauce was out of the world. We really enjoyed our experience dining here. The atmosphere sitting outdoors in the summer was great! Price range is between 20-30 euro for main course dishes.

Five outstanding prawns in a sauce that accented the taste of the sea rather than covering it up. Shared lamb couscous, perfectly cooked (rare to medium-rare) with apricots, prunes and veggies. Terrific fresh mint tea, paced but friendly and professional service. Makes you feel good about spending money. Definitely put it on your list. While you are at it, take time to see Leuven.
